WINTER WOBBLE

 

Leisure Bike Ride at Langdon Nature Reserve

 

Sunday 2nd December from 10:00 to 14:00

 

A chance for all abilities to explore the cycling trails through Langdon Nature Reserve and the surrounding countryside.

 

·        Free Entry

·        Choice of 3 routes depending on age and ability

·        Option of independent or guided rides*

·        Free bike check and basic service

·        Rental bikes available (pre-booking essential)

·        Lucky dip prize draw for all under-16s

·        Refreshments

·       Information on local cycling groups and activities

 

* Guided rides will start at 11:00 (all routes) and 13:00 (family route only)

 

Langdon Nature Reserve is soon to offer visitors a network of marked cycle trails from which to explore Essex Wildlife Trust land and the surrounding areas. In conjunction with TrailNet we are also planning to offer the chance to rent bicycles within the reserve.

 

As these routes are mainly on bridleways you’ll need a mountain or hybrid bike to handle the terrain. If you don’t have one, we will have a small number of bikes (plus child seats and trailers) available for rent but you’ll need to call in advance to reserve these.
